In my opinion, Fear is the ugliest four letter word which mainly stems from the affinity I have for the other four letter word that starts with “F.” I am sure this confession shocks all of my girlfriend’s down to their pretty polished Protestant toes.  Too bad.  I own it.  I’m not going to be afraid to say it.  Of course, I do make an attempt to at least censor myself when using that word unless when it is a time that I just don’t give a…oh wait a minute there..family blog.  Oh and never in front of children or old people–that’s just tacky–unless the old person is hard of hearing and even then, mouthing it is so much nicer.

At any rate, I have been writing a lot about fear lately.  My heroine is scared of everything in one way or another just like everyone.  Her exact fears aren’t as important as the fact that she has to face them just like we all do.

The question is will she learn that the things that scare her the most might just be the best things for her?   Will any of us ever learn?

Stay tuned for a HIGHLARIOUS post inspired by my 8 year old called, “My Life as told by Taylor Swift.”
