Are You Kidding Me? Did Your Mother Dress You?

It always amazes me what other women find appropriate to wear out to dinner and drinks. Usually, I am thrown by their blatant attempts to look hot in ill fitting shirts, poor shoe/outfit coordination and their obvious distaste for appropriate support garments. However, last night, took.the.cake.

My friend had offered to take me out for a drink to celebrate my birthday, and we decided on J Blacks. Love that place. Laid back without being divey, casual atmosphere, nice staff, limited number of douches.

So I really wasn’t expecting this:

A young lady was wearing her Frogs dress with pride about 40 miles away from where the game was played that afternoon. In other words, this wasn’t a quick drink after the game–she intended to wear this dress at one of Dallas’ newest and happening watering holes.

But wait, that is not all. This young lady still had a TCU temporary tattoo on her cheek AND…wait.for.it.. atop her ponytail sat a hair bow that looked like this:

So I’m wondering…why do her sorority sisters hate her so much? Or maybe she lost a bet? I was so close to pulling an emergency make-over right there in the bathroom, but I restrained myself. Sometimes you just have to let it go.

I love college football as much as the next Texas girl, but honestly, it was to quote the lawyer (9) “a little much.”
