The Writer’s Conference-AMAZING

I had an amazing time at the Central Coast Writer’s Conference! I met with some amazing authors, Marcia Preston and Merrily Kutner to name a few, and an amazing literary agent, Nathan Bransford. Yes, this post is going to be AMAZING as well.

When I wasn’t busy being authory and stuff, I enjoyed several delicious dinners out with fellow writers and even some locals, but one thing that I didn’t get to do? Ride in the hot air balloon!

Such a disappointment, but John Warren of Let’s Go Ballooning has firm safety standards, and the marine layer was simply too thick that morning.

Here is a picture of us by the balloon basket.

The Marine Layer that foiled our morning adventure!

I did however get to do a little sightseeing from the ground.
Heart Castle was amazing! I can’t wait to go back!

A boat on Morro Bay.

All in all, the Central Coast enchanted me with it’s food, wine and locals. It was an AMAZING trip (you thought I was through with that word, didn’t you?), and I am already looking forward to a return trip next fall.

In other news, my hard drive crashed this past weekend, but thankfully, the majority of the novel was recoverable. I have a lot of work to do on it still, but I am determined to be finished by January 1.

Now, back to writing!
